What? Looks like WHAT?! Oh the suspense! :D
Feelie and Charlie do get on well. They must indeed go a ways back.
In the end, maybe those guys might be needing a Cassy to hold (what's left of) their hand after all. :O
Centcomm 7th Mar 2018, 12:28 AM edit delete reply

hehe looks like.. CHEESE! a lot of cheese!
Sheela 7th Mar 2018, 9:29 AM edit delete reply

It's clearly an cybernetically improved and armored Murderturd !!

Also .. Feelie // Chawley !! :D
megados 7th Mar 2018, 10:20 AM edit delete reply
I think what we have here might be described as an impenetrable armored cheese flavored cliffhanger! (The old classic kind) Gotta be careful around those; they should put up a sign or something! :D

Also, I'm not one to randomly ship characters, but Feelie/Chawley isn't a bad one ;)
Sheela 7th Mar 2018, 10:32 AM edit delete reply

The shipping intensifies ! :D
Centcomm 8th Mar 2018, 11:36 PM edit delete reply

you know - for once we are not firing our anti shipping missles.. enjoy!
Sheela 9th Mar 2018, 3:52 AM edit delete reply

Eh he he he ... Centcomm is a Feelie / Chawley shipper as well ?
megados 9th Mar 2018, 12:23 PM edit delete reply
Well, not an anti shipper! That's a start!
Chippewa Ghost 7th Mar 2018, 12:36 AM edit delete reply

Grenades! Yes! Flash bangs like they're five for a dollar!

The alt-text is right on the money...
Sheela 7th Mar 2018, 9:32 AM edit delete reply

But .. they ARE five for a dollar !

Got a great discount on them from a guy named Mr Sutherland. :)
All I had to do was tune his drivebrain a little for a new vehicle.
Centcomm 8th Mar 2018, 11:36 PM edit delete reply

Rose writes the best ones!
Sheela 9th Mar 2018, 8:03 AM edit delete reply

Wait .. they've found Rose ?

Damn, definitely go in grenades first !
kraznor 10th Mar 2018, 6:03 PM edit delete reply
The grenades will not dare explode and will run out of the room screaming
megados 10th Mar 2018, 9:21 PM edit delete reply
*shakes head*

You probably can't use the five for a dollar ones; the ones you need are at least a couple of bux apiece. :D
Sheela 11th Mar 2018, 4:02 AM edit delete reply

The trick to unreliable grenades, is to just throw a cluster of five! :)

Big boom !
And if there's no boom, try, try again.
megados 11th Mar 2018, 9:48 AM edit delete reply
W- . . . Yeah, but if it's Rose, I dunno if saying BOOM loudly will work. O_o
Sheela 11th Mar 2018, 4:33 PM edit delete reply

Boom ?
megados 11th Mar 2018, 8:58 PM edit delete reply
You got this! :D
Just_IDD 7th Mar 2018, 12:40 AM edit delete reply
Here's a fun idea…
Put a couple of different possible scenarios of what is in the building as vote incentives on TWC and comicfury if it does those and see what that does for your voting drought. Then people can comment here on which they think is the most likely scenario if any.
Tokyo Rose 8th Mar 2018, 7:09 AM edit delete reply

Fuck, this is a great idea. Cent!
MikeLinPA 8th Mar 2018, 1:25 PM edit delete reply
You could turn it into a choose your own adventure book
Centcomm 8th Mar 2018, 11:36 PM edit delete reply

Sheela 9th Mar 2018, 3:53 AM edit delete reply

Hah, you can bet on your audience being up for it. :D
Haegan2005 7th Mar 2018, 12:49 AM edit delete reply

Grenades. Fuel air explosives. Small nukes. Things like that, considering what the devious duo have done in the past probably may be under kill.

Just saying.
Morituri 7th Mar 2018, 12:54 AM edit delete reply
A ranger became afraid for the safety of a large murderturd, so she drugged it and, for its own protection, fitted it with armor made of tank plating.

But murderturds don't like being inside armor that they can't take off. The poor darling was now likely to wake up in a bad mood.

Although, it's sort of hard to tell when a murderturd is in a bad mood. Should we say 'angry?' No, same problem. How about 'more angry than usual?'

Anyway, the ranger figured that this gutter base would be an appropriate rest and relaxation area for the creature to work out her understandable frustration at the situation, so dropped her off, gently, quietly, taking care not to interrupt her nap.

Gutters, on the other hand, are not known for being quiet and gentle and taking care not to interrupt naps, and besides no matter how good the drugs are the trip only lasts so long....
Ictuan 7th Mar 2018, 9:02 PM edit delete reply
Is this the same murderturd that swallowed a pink rabbit with a drum a few pages back? It just isn't having a good time lately.
Morituri 8th Mar 2018, 12:26 AM edit delete reply
I was thinking for extra style points you could put a saddle on that armor. Carefully articulated so as the creature couldn't actually bend around and reach it with any of its smashy or pointy bits, and with a nice roll cage and safety straps for the inevitable rough spots where she's developed an itch and is going for a bit of a back scratch. So, more a howdah really than a saddle.

But that dismount could be tricky. So, instead of watching the festivities close up, it's probably better to just mount a minigun and motion-sensing targeting system on each shoulder. Right next to her ears. That'll prevent her from hearing all those distressing noises the gutters might be making.
Centcomm 8th Mar 2018, 11:37 PM edit delete reply

Sheela 9th Mar 2018, 3:55 AM edit delete reply

Jetpack assisted ejecting seats is the solution .. Murderturds can't fly !

... imagine if they could ?!
Morituri 12th Mar 2018, 12:56 PM edit delete reply
Sheela, in my dreams last night there was some wizard-ish guy who did the ancient trope of conjuring a dread fantasy creature from its own realm to ours, just for the sheer cool of having a dragon attack Chicago or get into an aerial dogfight with a bunch of Migs or whatever.

I'm blaming your flying-murderturd comment for that one, by the way. So, thanks.

Anyway, it was all very dramatic, on top of a skyscraper with the dread beast stepping through the portal, and he gave it its command, and it leapt into the air with a mighty flap of its wings and ....

Plummeted straight down forty stories to the ground where it splattered like a sack of wet cement. In our reality, no, even in the reality of my dreams when I'm dreaming the modern world, enormous beasts like that can't fly. We have something called the square-cube law here, idiot. You should have gone for the plague of locusts.
Sheela 13th Mar 2018, 3:58 AM edit delete reply

I .. I ... I didn't do it !!

A wizard did it ! *points*

antrik 14th Mar 2018, 1:49 PM edit delete reply
Is that Aeneas?...
CptKerion 7th Mar 2018, 2:04 AM edit delete reply
Flashbang, guy with autoshotty takes point. Or, you know, send a small drone in first.
Sheela 7th Mar 2018, 9:36 AM edit delete reply

Small scouting drones will lower soldier losses so much in the future, it's not even funny.

Really looking forward to those becoming useful.
Some Ed 7th Mar 2018, 10:40 AM edit delete reply
Only until all-clear holos and other gimmicks raise them again. It's one of those never-ending techno battles.
Fafhred 7th Mar 2018, 2:35 AM edit delete reply

They sure look like 'red shirts' to me...
Centcomm 8th Mar 2018, 11:37 PM edit delete reply

yeah .. funny about those red uniforms eh?
velvetsanity 7th Mar 2018, 4:02 AM edit delete reply we know what CentComm did with Teedee’s ‘proper’ body... :D
Centcomm 8th Mar 2018, 11:37 PM edit delete reply

mjkj 7th Mar 2018, 4:54 AM edit delete reply

oh-noes... a cliff - and a very steep one... :o
Sheela 7th Mar 2018, 9:37 AM edit delete reply

But .. how did they get a cliff inside a house ?
megados 7th Mar 2018, 10:22 AM edit delete reply
Sorry, that's classified. :D
robnot 7th Mar 2018, 12:35 PM edit delete reply
... TARDIS ...
megados 7th Mar 2018, 8:36 PM edit delete reply
" . . . it's dimensionally transcendental." :D
Centcomm 8th Mar 2018, 11:38 PM edit delete reply

got climbing gear?
Sheela 9th Mar 2018, 3:57 AM edit delete reply

No, but apparently the house does. :D
robnot 9th Mar 2018, 12:08 PM edit delete reply
@Centcomm: well now that you mention it...
Oberoten 7th Mar 2018, 6:31 AM edit delete reply

Good cliffhanger.
Hornet 7th Mar 2018, 9:27 AM edit delete reply
Do they have Carrion Eaters in the waste? Don't know about the flash bangs, but I'd definitely want to get some light in there preferably not attached to any of my people..
highlander55 7th Mar 2018, 10:08 AM edit delete reply

I hope it's not a plated Murderturd. Then we go again with a chase scene and Cent humming the Benny Hill tune again.
robnot 7th Mar 2018, 12:36 PM edit delete reply
Thracecius 7th Mar 2018, 3:50 PM edit delete reply
Now THAT would be pure entertainment, especially if Chawley and Feelie were the sportscasters. :D
Haegan2005 7th Mar 2018, 10:14 PM edit delete reply

Okay, that was funny.

The thing is guys, I can see her doing that!
Sheela 9th Mar 2018, 3:58 AM edit delete reply

Feelie ?

Oh yeah, she'd love being a sportscaster. :D
Thracecius 7th Mar 2018, 3:53 PM edit delete reply
Word to the wise: never park your APC so it blocks the only entrance through a wall. It tends to invite explosions that trap you on the wrong side of the wall, which then normally results in lots of running and screaming as people die horribly. You know, bad stuff.

Just_IDD 8th Mar 2018, 8:17 AM edit delete reply
The other thing when parking a vehicle during a situation, always park it facing the direction that you're going to leave
megados 8th Mar 2018, 9:28 AM edit delete reply
I'd opt to have weapons pointed toward potential threats. :D
antrik 8th Mar 2018, 1:47 PM edit delete reply
I'd say the turret looks like the sort that can turn all the way around?...
megados 8th Mar 2018, 3:17 PM edit delete reply
You're probably right, but can the barrel clear the archway? (if they still decide to keep that position)

Also, turning around while spinning the turret, or other parking maneuvers, might take attention and tactical advantage away from facing a potential threat on approach. I would bet the APC has reverse.

I would be most concerned with what Thracecius mentioned, and pulled it in a bit farther, to leave a gap, should it become disabled.

I'm not a military tactician, so it's just a layman's opinion. :D
antrik 9th Mar 2018, 12:26 PM edit delete reply
@megados my point was that it should be possible park it such that the front would be in the direction of escape, while the turret could still face the battlefield...
robnot 9th Mar 2018, 12:13 PM edit delete reply
front armor is the heaviest/thickest... so that towards the bad guy .!!!
megados 9th Mar 2018, 12:34 PM edit delete reply
That's a good point, robnot! (I didn't know that) That's another good reason to come in facing front.

antrik, yes I got that. My point was that all the monkey motion to get it all positioned that way on arrival probably isn't your best tactic when coming into a potentially hostile situation. Either come straight in, or take hostile fire while you try to get it all turned around. Like I was saying, I bet the APC has reverse. :D
antrik 12th Mar 2018, 11:40 AM edit delete reply
Reverse, sure... But it might lack a rear-view mirror? ;-)
megados 12th Mar 2018, 1:57 PM edit delete reply
LOL yup, I bet it does lack a rearview mirror! :D

I am impressed with the various HUDs which exist in the DC universe. I wish I had one, especially since cars of today come equipped with rear view cameras! ;)
KarToon12 7th Mar 2018, 10:47 PM edit delete reply

To quote Star Wars: I got a bad feeling about this...
Oberoten 8th Mar 2018, 6:06 AM edit delete reply

Any occasion to quote Star Wars is a good occasion.
Centcomm 9th Mar 2018, 3:30 PM edit delete reply

thats no moon thats a _______________ fill in the blank
DLKmusic 11th Mar 2018, 11:31 PM edit delete reply

@centcomm: That's no moon, that's an angry Ewok?

What's an angry Ewok doing in orbit?
velvetsanity 13th Mar 2018, 9:03 PM edit delete reply

...Teedee showing CentComm what she thinks of the AIS

Oh, wait, that’s would be a full moon and a middle finger :D
megados 10th Mar 2018, 12:07 AM edit delete reply
Mynocks. Probably chewing on the power cables.
Rashala 10th Mar 2018, 4:14 AM edit delete reply

I'd make a red shirt reference here but I think next episodes gonna make that obvious.
