Centcomm 11th Sep 2012, 10:36 AM edit delete reply

Indeed - and here I thought you were a gentleman *grins*
cattservant 11th Sep 2012, 12:43 PM edit delete reply

Am I missing something of interest here?
cattservant 11th Sep 2012, 1:58 AM edit delete reply

You light up my chakras!

Or:
What you believe.
And what you see.
It's how you live
That sets you free!

Centcomm 11th Sep 2012, 10:37 AM edit delete reply

Ah HAH you noticed that ! ^_^
armandoB 11th Sep 2012, 10:07 AM edit delete reply

Flashy!
Centcomm 11th Sep 2012, 10:37 AM edit delete reply

and .. glittery ! welcome to the fun !
KarToon12 11th Sep 2012, 11:22 AM edit delete reply

Believe your heart; not your eyes.
Centcomm 11th Sep 2012, 11:51 AM edit delete reply

EXACTLY! and besides being a really cool little segment - the events playing out here have greater meaning soon!
m4ch43r 11th Sep 2012, 11:23 AM edit delete reply

Woooo, shiny! And I don't know about you, but between The Boxed Set and Second Life, I don't do much without a mouse and keyboard in front of me! XD
Centcomm 11th Sep 2012, 11:52 AM edit delete reply

second life - I actually have a "Cent-Comm" avatar there ( ID is Centcomm Galaxy - going by Cyn atm ) and yeah I know what you mean I practicly live at my desk sometimes ..
cattservant 11th Sep 2012, 11:26 AM edit delete reply

There are some interesting new info-nuggets on the Cast page, thank you.

I wonder if you might expound a bit on the 'early life' of androids at some point?
Centcomm 11th Sep 2012, 11:54 AM edit delete reply

well "Memory Shards" is a bit more info as well as "Luna Star" ( the sister comic to this ) was there something in piticular?
cattservant 11th Sep 2012, 12:20 PM edit delete reply

Well perhaps something about how they react to the transition from their virtual 'childhood life' to physicality as a Model: Zero.
Centcomm 11th Sep 2012, 12:24 PM edit delete reply

ah -- Hmm ill see what I can do :D
cattservant 11th Sep 2012, 12:33 PM edit delete reply

Spending their first 'year' virtually living a childhood in an accelerated time frame and then a sequestered physical year might well predispose an android to be quite flexible about 'Time and Space'.
Centcomm 11th Sep 2012, 3:20 PM edit delete reply

They are normally - most live in the "here and now " only special situations cause them to experiance time dialation and even the first "year" is spent at "computer" speed not human speed so its actually longer than one year for a andriod..
Rashala 11th Sep 2012, 5:10 PM edit delete reply

For the record I am a gentleman.....99.8 Percent of the time. That was my .2 for the month ;)
cattservant 11th Sep 2012, 5:48 PM edit delete reply

Got to keep your hand in...
cattservant 11th Sep 2012, 6:51 PM edit delete reply

I am very impressed by The Ladies bodies. Each little circle is a touch sensor*? The larger the size, the more 'sensitive'?

*(Piezoelectric perhaps?)
Centcomm 11th Sep 2012, 6:58 PM edit delete reply

Perhaps :P i can tell you the black sections are MUCH more flexable than the darker gry
cattservant 11th Sep 2012, 7:14 PM edit delete reply

Makes sense. Joints have to be flexible. (Even if more vulnerable.) Does that mean TeeDee can wiggle her ears?
Centcomm 11th Sep 2012, 7:15 PM edit delete reply

hehe she can :P
cattservant 11th Sep 2012, 7:43 PM edit delete reply

Ahh, then the possibility exists for a super-secret android semaphore signal code for use in situations where electronic eavesdropping is suspected.
Centcomm 11th Sep 2012, 7:54 PM edit delete reply

thats what speedspeak is for they can also encrypt it as well ..
cattservant 11th Sep 2012, 8:00 PM edit delete reply

Oh! Well gee... But how about audio bugs?

Here's a colorful example.
Centcomm 11th Sep 2012, 8:32 PM edit delete reply

its always possable.. they also have a "visual flash" mode useing invisable light, that can be seen by other andriods . or radio. correction SOME models do .. not all
cattservant 11th Sep 2012, 9:19 PM edit delete reply

Funny you should mention Android Radio...

If they had commercials, you might hear something like: "Tired of your old Hexaflow model? Get a New BIO-REAL! Try it on and give it a Feel!!!
Rashala 11th Sep 2012, 8:04 PM edit delete reply

I think the differnt colored area's = Area's that move to a degree ie that material has some give and flexibility to it compared to other spots that would not need such and are as such more rigid and inflexible.
cattservant 11th Sep 2012, 8:12 PM edit delete reply

Makes sense, and overall markedly resistant to cuts, punctures and blunt force trauma.
The spinal surface schematics are obvious, I suppose the various other highlighted areas are access and diagnostic points.
Centcomm 11th Sep 2012, 8:27 PM edit delete reply

you guys would be correct on the access and diagnostics ports - also these are a "designer" body shell there are marked differnces bwtween Ada and TD - both of them use "Hexaflow" bodies one of the most popular styles currently and have been for years - there are other styles Dollys was called a "Meta-Zeo" and was designed off of a vid-star ( although dolly didnt realize she had picked a cartoon body she liked its specs ) another popular design is called "Bio-real" and is what Minx uses..
cattservant 11th Sep 2012, 8:41 PM edit delete reply

More evidence that the Ladies are indeed 'some place else'. They are perceiving themselves as being in their 'natural' Hexaflow bodies even though (apparently unbeknownst to themselves) when they 'wake up' they will be dangerous Sprites!

RE: Differences; Ada's got parts! Probably why she's wearing a dress. Don't know about the high-heels though...
Rashala 11th Sep 2012, 8:47 PM edit delete reply

I beleive what you are trying to explain or comprehend Cat is Called. Residual Self Image. its the mental image a being has of themself that often DRASTICLY differs from their actual current apperance.

*See the matrix*
Centcomm 11th Sep 2012, 8:53 PM edit delete reply

you are dead on Rashala RSI is exactly whats going on ..
cattservant 11th Sep 2012, 8:55 PM edit delete reply

As in "There is no spoon!" (?)

And yes; don't ask an old geezer about what he sees in the mirror!
Centcomm 11th Sep 2012, 8:48 PM edit delete reply

heheh
actually Ada has a diffrent body ( that hasnt been revealed yet ) IF she survives.
Rashala 11th Sep 2012, 8:51 PM edit delete reply

oh I figured that:) I am jsut sayign that the RSI is why Ada and tedde see themselves as such in this space.
Centcomm 11th Sep 2012, 8:52 PM edit delete reply

Ada loved dressing up, she also liked "girly" fashions.. so it fits with her image..
Rashala 11th Sep 2012, 8:52 PM edit delete reply

also Ada had Bio implants for her and her BF...so...well human modesty says it needs covering
cattservant 11th Sep 2012, 9:04 PM edit delete reply

Past Tense sounds slightly ominous...
Centcomm 11th Sep 2012, 9:40 PM edit delete reply

:/ sorry cant comment on that one ..
cattservant 11th Sep 2012, 9:46 PM edit delete reply

Oh Noes!
Rashala 11th Sep 2012, 10:06 PM edit delete reply

well aDa's old body is trashed so...hence the past tense.
Centcomm 11th Sep 2012, 10:12 PM edit delete reply

Thats a good reason .. yes. Ill go with that.
cattservant 11th Sep 2012, 10:13 PM edit delete reply

Sure hope so!
CyberSkull 12th Sep 2012, 3:48 AM edit delete reply
