Life on the adrenaline edge!

(Hmnn,
Where does she have the flashlight stashed?)
Centcomm 1st Jan 2013, 12:09 AM edit delete reply

she stuffed it in her waistpocket .. .. actually I forgot it >_<
cattservant 1st Jan 2013, 12:15 AM edit delete reply

I thought she might have used it earlier to signal her ID code and just left it in the hopper.
plymayer 1st Jan 2013, 12:16 AM edit delete reply

It's like STTNG who knows where they get those flashlights when they need them either.
Centcomm 1st Jan 2013, 11:54 AM edit delete reply

OOOO iffy gun control...sounds like Chicago in the summer.
Dragonrider 1st Jan 2013, 7:56 AM edit delete reply

What you mean Summer Willis?? Cabrini-Green Winter and Summer, Rain-Shine-Freeze or Scorch.
Draginbeard 1st Jan 2013, 9:21 AM edit delete reply

Green has been gone a long time now, so things are a little more seasonal these days.
Dragonrider 2nd Jan 2013, 9:15 AM edit delete reply

Been a few since I lived in the Windy. While I was there, the Mayor made a big show of moving her entire family into the Green, cleaning the place up etc. The cost in police OT to keep the drugs out, the shootings gone while she lived there was astronomical. As soon as the City Council and Cops persuaded her to move out it went right back to the jewel it always was. What took its place as cesspool #1?
Centcomm 1st Jan 2013, 11:55 AM edit delete reply

never been there but probably ! :D

In the last panel I thought Acantha said "Check this out, it's heat." Poor Lynn.
Centcomm 1st Jan 2013, 11:56 AM edit delete reply

so did Lynn Proably - shes freezeing.. :P
( its actually not THAT cold shes just a wimp.
Dragonrider 1st Jan 2013, 7:47 AM edit delete reply

Uuuhhh Who installed the guns inside the city and Why? And if the AI doesn't have control of them who does? Also why do I think that explosive bracelet Lynn wears is going to create a problem?
Centcomm 1st Jan 2013, 11:57 AM edit delete reply

The guns were there when Roma was a military base about 900+ years ago they were maintained and upgraded over the couse of time.

As for the bracelet -- I cant say yet. >_<
I will point out that the cuff does not contain explosives - just a heavy duty stun-element capable of knocking a rhino out in mid charge. Lynn would FEEL like her arm was blown off . and wonder why she was on the ground >_<
Dragonrider 1st Jan 2013, 5:58 PM edit delete reply

OK how about the other question, who controls the guns the AI doesn't control?
Centcomm 1st Jan 2013, 6:02 PM edit delete reply

technicly they are under thier own control..
they are in whats called "autistic mode" following the last command given. e.g. kill anything you see.. or shoot at anything that moves.. it will no longer listen to commands given untill the command has run its course or the gun "resets" the guns have a form of limited intelligence in a small positronic brain. so they are very good at carrying out the instructions .. not so good at basic reasoning...
cattservant 1st Jan 2013, 3:45 PM edit delete reply

Death2Bravo 2nd Jan 2013, 6:18 AM edit delete reply

Certainly comforting how willing she is to take responsibility for the other getting shot to death. Makes me feel all warm and snugly inside.
Centcomm 2nd Jan 2013, 9:53 AM edit delete reply

mushroomisland 2nd Jan 2013, 12:59 PM edit delete reply

Centcomm 2nd Jan 2013, 1:02 PM edit delete reply

Steven-Vincent 22nd Aug 2015, 4:03 PM edit delete reply

Nice job with the SFX in the last panel. As usual, it is very subtle and understated which of course makes it look more believable.
