I likeElvendrums' rendition (though it's better on the album - they perform it a bit slower)
LooeyQ 10th Jan 2013, 12:27 AM edit delete reply

Oh my, a cyberpunk Tom Bombadil!

Is he neurotic, lonely, or full on Spider Jerusalem crazy?
Centcomm 10th Jan 2013, 1:13 AM edit delete reply

a little from each ? :D
Dianna Silver 10th Jan 2013, 1:13 AM edit delete reply

Well, from what I understand (not that A: I understand much or B: what I understand matters), it's pretty much a mix of all three of those options. #1 I can see as a result of those lovely biologicals you're beholden to keep safe and protect--so much so that you're geared to actually be friends with them--turn on you and darn near succeed in killing you as dead a a cockroach in a Raid commercial. #2 is probably the main reason 'Cantha's still in one piece and not her just becoming the latest vaporized biological in his claimed DMZ/kill-zone the first time she went there. #3, well . . . It's not just his doll's body that's cracked . . .
cattservant 10th Jan 2013, 1:23 AM edit delete reply

I think his discrimination filters are stuck at the full open setting.

Centcomm 10th Jan 2013, 10:21 AM edit delete reply

Death2Bravo 10th Jan 2013, 7:09 AM edit delete reply

Centcomm 10th Jan 2013, 10:20 AM edit delete reply

indeed they have .. :D
Dragonrider 10th Jan 2013, 9:45 AM edit delete reply

Is it my imagination or is Aenaes NOT a Him? Not one reference Aeneas has made is in the masculine gender they are all in the neutral gender, "its", However; something puzzles me Aeneas was Trojan, the son of either Aphrodite or Venus, related to King Priam of Trojan War fame and was a commander of one og the Hosts of Allies Troy had. As such would not the name be more appropriate to Troy or Nova Ilium than to Nova Roma?
Centcomm 10th Jan 2013, 10:20 AM edit delete reply

smiles another very good observation.. and the name thing will be made clear in a few pages .. sorry for the evasive answer :D
Tokyo Rose 11th Jan 2013, 2:18 AM edit delete reply

Aeneas was also the legendary founder of ancient Rome, according to Virgil.

Also, Acantha's been using masculine pronouns to refer to Aeneas for several pages . . .
Dianna Silver 15th Jan 2013, 8:31 PM edit delete reply

@Dragonrider: TR's nailed it in one. Virgil just wrote down what he believed Roman history to be and Livy expanded on the biography; the fact remains that the Romans themselves traced their history all the way back to the fall of Troy and the escape of a person of Trojan royal blood: Aeneas. It was Aeneas's long affair with the queen of Carthage, Dido, and his leaving her at the insistence of the gods that mythologically explained the intense rivalry between Rome and Carthage that culminated in the three Punic Wars, and Aeneas is stated to be the direct ancestor in the paternal line of Rhea Silvia, the mother of the god Mars's twin sons Romulus and Remus.

From one crazy bastard to another. Acantha's life is just brimming with intersting people.
Centcomm 10th Jan 2013, 12:15 PM edit delete reply

yep someone cursed her to "live in intersting times"... XD
KarToon12 10th Jan 2013, 2:03 PM edit delete reply

That's the creepiest face ever. D:
Centcomm 10th Jan 2013, 4:18 PM edit delete reply

Hornet 10th Jan 2013, 4:10 PM edit delete reply
Watch his next comment be "Hello, How is my mother?"
Centcomm 10th Jan 2013, 4:18 PM edit delete reply

funny, you should mention that..
cattservant 10th Jan 2013, 4:52 PM edit delete reply

The matter is definitely relative...

(I'm thinking Aunt equivalent.)

mushroomisland 10th Jan 2013, 4:57 PM edit delete reply

YAY be friends with the BLUE KILLING PROGRAM :D:D:D:D:D

no really, this is cool. Having a friend like that would rock. If he didn't sing creepy songs and didn't look so blue.
Centcomm 10th Jan 2013, 8:45 PM edit delete reply

hahah - wait till you see what happens next :D
Dragonrider 10th Jan 2013, 8:56 PM edit delete reply

At this point someone should take Lynn by the hand and lead her to the ladies room before she has an accident. Poor girl has had about all the shocks her system can take she needs a trank, a drink and sleep.
Centcomm 10th Jan 2013, 8:57 PM edit delete reply

oh wait.. you think this place has bathrooms ??? LOL and yes - I totally agree. the effects of all this stress is going to come out soon..
cattservant 10th Jan 2013, 10:54 PM edit delete reply

I bet there aren't any bucket equivalents lying around either.
Maybe she can borrow a helmet from one of the war droids...

(But really, Acantha must have a good spot marked out by this time.)
Centcomm 10th Jan 2013, 11:02 PM edit delete reply

hehe .. yup she does indeed .. :D
cattservant 10th Jan 2013, 11:08 PM edit delete reply

And the New Trojans have issues about fastidiousness...
(This might be one of those camel damaging moments!)
Centcomm 10th Jan 2013, 11:14 PM edit delete reply
