Well he's a smuggler alright. :-D

Knows ALL their tricks and has tricks of his own to offset them. :-)
Centcomm 29th Jul 2013, 9:22 PM edit delete reply

yep you know exactly what he did ...
velvetsanity 29th Jul 2013, 9:35 PM edit delete reply

"I built these compartments for smuggling spice. I never expected to have to smuggle myself in them"
Centcomm 29th Jul 2013, 9:48 PM edit delete reply

hah!
ranger_brianna_new 29th Jul 2013, 10:00 PM edit delete reply

Or a couple of 'droids, for that matter. :P
highlander55 29th Jul 2013, 9:40 PM edit delete reply

Just what could that Runner do to something THAT big? But like Stormwind13 stated- He knows all the tricks. Or she is in his pocket.

Heat in Phoenix is about 100º according to my family in Chandler. Why I left in '87. Good luck to you tho!
Centcomm 29th Jul 2013, 9:48 PM edit delete reply

the Runner is mostly just acting as a scanner.. its weapons really cant hurt the transport unless it hits something really important ...
Stormwind13 29th Jul 2013, 9:49 PM edit delete reply

I doubt she is in his pocket, he would have to know the watch schedule. Not impossible, but sounds like he knew their scan frequency and misdirected it to me (these aren't the droids you are looking for). :-D
Centcomm 29th Jul 2013, 9:50 PM edit delete reply

that would be correct.. :D
Stormwind13 29th Jul 2013, 9:54 PM edit delete reply

Well if the runner had the ammo, eventually it could do enough damage. I doubt it would survive long enough to do that though. I mean, if it came down to it, landing that thing on the runner would take care of the matter (I don't care HOW quick you are, when I drop a house on you, you are SQUASHED). :-D
highlander55 29th Jul 2013, 9:56 PM edit delete reply

True, just ask the Wicked Witch of the East. Oops, too late!
cattservant 29th Jul 2013, 11:32 PM edit delete reply

Watch where you put your feet!
Stormwind13 29th Jul 2013, 9:55 PM edit delete reply

The 3rd panel looks really good to me. The wash off the ship as it is settling in seems to be well done to me. :-)
Centcomm 29th Jul 2013, 10:42 PM edit delete reply

Thank you , it was a pain in the butt to do.
anarcha 29th Jul 2013, 10:03 PM edit delete reply

Who can go wrong with pink plaid. Good luck w/Escape from FL!
Stormwind13 29th Jul 2013, 10:22 PM edit delete reply

Lots of people, I think; however, Connie can probably carry about ANYTHING off (in my opinion). :-D
Centcomm 29th Jul 2013, 10:42 PM edit delete reply

everyone hates the shirt .. I thought it was cute.. :D
anarcha 29th Jul 2013, 10:47 PM edit delete reply

Hey, I love that pink plaid shirt, c'mon! I think it's is awesome. I vow to use it in my next chapter, esp. as I can't wait for time/clothing change.
Stormwind13 29th Jul 2013, 10:49 PM edit delete reply

Actually, I think it is cute too. On Connie. On a lot of other people, it would probably NOT be as cute though. With Connie's hair though it seems to go. :-)
Sheela 30th Jul 2013, 6:18 AM edit delete reply

That said, surely she has more than one shirt ?
Stormwind13 30th Jul 2013, 5:10 PM edit delete reply

Of course, Sheela. She was wearing a different shirt previously (see Decoy, page 968 currently).
cattservant 30th Jul 2013, 7:31 PM edit delete reply

Who needs a shirt?!
Stormwind13 30th Jul 2013, 7:43 PM edit delete reply

Well I wouldn't object to Connie, Ada, Dr. Silver or even TeeDee running around without one, if they so desired. :-D

Of course, I'm not going to SUGGEST any such thing, Cat. I'll leave that up to you and see how many of those 9 lives get used up. :-D
cattservant 30th Jul 2013, 8:17 PM edit delete reply

Let you in on a feline secret;
Those '9 Lives' are really a 'probability cloud' which is very useful for 'being somewhere else' when consequences strike!
Stormwind13 30th Jul 2013, 8:44 PM edit delete reply

Yeah, but if you get TeeDee and Dr. Silver after you they can nuke TWO locations at the same time. Catch you at one of them. :-D
cattservant 30th Jul 2013, 9:00 PM edit delete reply

Remember there are 9 primary possibilities.
Stormwind13 30th Jul 2013, 9:09 PM edit delete reply

I wonder how many a ticked off TeeDee could cover at once? And the good Doctor has 10 drones... Not sure what they DO, but since Marcus wanted them along I imagine they go boom. :-)

So they could cover at least 11 points between the two of them. :-D More if TeeDee really stretched herself. :-)
cattservant 30th Jul 2013, 9:21 PM edit delete reply

What's 9 to the 9th?*

[And of course there's the final feline fallback:
"I don't know,
don't care,
wasn't even there.
Meow!
Anyhow..."]

*(I'm absolutely mathematically deficient!)
Stormwind13 30th Jul 2013, 9:37 PM edit delete reply

LOL. That is a true feline for sure.

(and I get 387,420,489... So that is a couple of possible locations. :-D)
cattservant 29th Jul 2013, 11:28 PM edit delete reply

Somebody is 'baffled'!
Rashala 29th Jul 2013, 11:58 PM edit delete reply

yeah put Gun pod on those stubby arms you you have a Vulture mech!
JustNoPoint 30th Jul 2013, 9:05 AM edit delete reply

Just a routine touchdown, nothing to see here. Nothing can possibly go wrong...
Draginbeard 30th Jul 2013, 9:45 AM edit delete reply

Nothing is going to go wrong...someone has to turn on the fan first. That might take a minute, plenty of time to get all the stuff to hit it with.
Dragonrider 30th Jul 2013, 5:13 PM edit delete reply

In Kaintuckian YeeHaw we dun put nother one over on ole Rosco P Coltrane and Boss Hogg. They still ain't figured out that there back seat covers up the shine tank.
velvetsanity 30th Jul 2013, 5:55 PM edit delete reply

Shouldn't that be Georgian? Hazzard county is actually in Georgia (and yes, really exists)
UncleRat 30th Jul 2013, 6:39 PM edit delete reply
I think they are thinking of Hazzard, Ky. But that is Perry county :)The Dukes was set in Georgia.
Sheela 30th Jul 2013, 7:02 PM edit delete reply

Besides, moonshiners were notoriously bad at keeping only to one side of the stateborder, and kept crossing them again 'n' again, even when asked *not* to do so.
cattservant 30th Jul 2013, 7:35 PM edit delete reply
Dragonrider 30th Jul 2013, 8:14 PM edit delete reply

Town of Hazard is in KY, Southeast of Corbin, KY home of Kaintucky Fried Grease err Chicken.
velvetsanity 30th Jul 2013, 10:24 PM edit delete reply

The 'Hazzard' referred to in the show, though, is the county, not the town. It's specifically referred to as 'Hazzard County' at many points.
Stormwind13 30th Jul 2013, 7:52 PM edit delete reply

See if my crystal ball is working today... I'm going to bet that Mr. Black is going to contact the yahoo from Nova Roma that is recruiting and see about getting recruited to provide intelligence to them or something like that.

I could see him working out a way to get Nova Roma to pay him while he is on a mission to free captives from them! :-D I think he would LOVE to do that, the challenge would be worth it. :-)

Heck if he did it right, he wouldn't even have to LIE to them, just make them think they are getting something that they aren't. :-D Tell them he'll report any strange groups or troop movements or something... But the people he is traveling with aren't strange he KNOWS all of them. :-D

Wonder how much he can soak them for. :-) Might cost him a new id, but he's got a spare one I'm sure that he could use up if it looked like it might pay enough. :-D
Sheela 31st Jul 2013, 12:47 AM edit delete reply

Heh, there would be some poetic justice in making them pay for their own misfortunes.
